Unlucky Emerald

On Saturday I had my first hockey game and our team is called Emerald.
Since my hockey game only started at 10 o’clock I could still have a relaxing breakfast so my dad cooked me pancakes.
Next I got changed into my hockey uniform. It is a blue and navy top and you can have a black or navy shorts or scorts. A scort is shorts but a skirt on top and they are sewed together but I wore shorts.
Once we got there before the game our team practised passing the ball to each other. I passed the ball to Breanne because Breanne is on my team and we kept on hitting the ball into the goal that was beside us.
Later on it was time for the game. I stopped the other team a lot from scoring a goal but we still lost because they got four points and we got three points but we still did well because we tried very hard. At the end of the game we all got a packet of lollies called tingles and when you ate one it felt like you had pins and needles on your tongue but they were still yummy!

ReplyDeleteYou must be really good at Hockey! Although I never really played a real Hockey game, I'm sure its really fun. In case you didn't know, I was a student in Mrs Morris's class in 2011.
Athough I like to play it, I don't know much about it!
