Paralympics

Paralympics
The Paralympics is the Olympics for people with disabilities.

The Paralympics is held two weeks after the real Olympics. People without arms or legs can participate in the Paralympics. The Paralympics was first held in Rome, 1960.

Sophie Pascoe won gold in 100m Butterfly in swimming. She lost her leg in a bad lawn mowing accident.

There are lots of events in the Paralympics.
