The Paralympics by Breanne
The Paralympics are for people who have disabilities.
The Paralympics were first held in Rome in 1960.The most successful Paralympians were Tanni Grey-Thompson and David Roberts.
The Paralympics are the second largest sports competition in the world after the Olympics.
Like the Olympics the Paralympics are a competition of people with the highest athletic ability.
The name Paralympics comes from a Greek prefix Para.
The 2012 Paralympic games have twenty games and sixteen of them are also in the Olympics like archery, athletics [track and field].wheelchair basketball, cycling, equestrian and ten more other sports as well.
I like how you put (Track and Field) in brackets so if people didn't know what Athletics ment they would now know
